Getting to ICDE 2024

Utrecht is in the center of the Netherlands and is a major commercial and business hub, well-connected to all major destinations by air and land. As such, getting to Utrecht is convenient, relaxed and fast.

Arriving by Air

The closest airport is Schiphol, which is the main Amsterdam airport. Schiphol is a popular european airport hub and every major airline has direct flights to it. From Schiphol one can take the train (directly from the airport terminal) to Utrecht Central station. Trains run until late in the night, typically 2-3 per hour, and the average travel time from Schiphol to Utrecht is 35 min. Taxi is also an option. A main taxi service in the city is the Utrechtse Taxi Centrale (UTC).

Arriving by Train

Another convenient way to arrive to Utrecht is by train. Amsterdam central station can be reached in 35 min. There ara many residents that live in Utrecht and work in Amsterdam, by commuting daily, and vice versa. Frankfurt is 4 and a half hours away while Paris is 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Visa Support Letters

IEEE is able to provide visa support letters to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee. All visa support letters are provided automatically by the registration web site after the registration has been completed.
